Taylor, 45, maintains the opinion his admirers gave him the lifestyle he now enjoys, so he pays them back by looking fabulous.
He says, "There's no secret. I just stopped doing all the horrible stuff years ago, and made a conscious decision to shape up.
"I don't think our audience would be interested if we came back looking bad.
"It's like, you rewarded me with these record sales, so I'm going to reward you by looking my best.
"I don't think there's anything pompous about saying that."
