I was home in New Orleans this past Mardi Gras and heard "When Doves Cry" at a bar on Bourbon Sreet. As my friends and I sang the song I announced that the song is actually 23 years old and was released in 1984. It really doesn't seem like that long ago for me!!! BTW, New Orleans is still very far from being rebuilt. I am currently working and living in Santa Barbara, California right now as a travel nurse.
